Bent Rail Digital was created to provide digital systems consulting to business of all sizes and specialized services for model railroaders.

Paul Bender, the founder of Bent Rail Digital, has more than 20 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer and University Educator. During much of that time, he has contributed to open source software projects as a way of giving back to the community, including many years of experience contributing to JMRI. Bent Rail Digital's staff is highly experienced in building solutions to interesting problems. We develop software primarilly in Java, C, C++, and Python using behavior-driven and test-driven software development methodologies. We deploy software accross multiple operating systems and many different platforms.
